Hazardous Materials Awareness Week - January 18-24, 2009 |
|
Activities for the 2009 HazMat Awareness Week will focus on "Mercury", the increased threat this element poses and the variety of products that contain it.
In particular, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), which are becoming very popular due to their bright light and power savings over regular incandescent bulbs, pose a threat if accidentally broken or disposed of incorrectly. State
