U. S. Department of Commerce

Economic Development Administration (EDA) provides grants to economically-distressed communities to generate new employment, help retain existing jobs and stimulate industrial and commercial growth.

U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) SBA's mission is to maintain and strengthen the nation's economy by aiding, counseling, assisting and protecting the interests of small business and by helping families and business recover from national disasters.

U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development

Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, one of 12 district banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System, enables members to provide affordable housing, build prosperous communities and promote sound economic development through targeted housing and economic development grants, reduced-rate loans, down-payment assistance programs and technical expertise.

Florida Office of Toursim, Trade & Economic Development (OTTED) OTTED's mission is to assist the Governor and Lieutenant Governor in working with the Legislature, state agencies, business leaders, and economic development professionals to formulate policies and strategies designed to provide economic opportunities for all Floridians.

Enterprise Florida is the public-private partnership responsible for leading Florida’s statewide economic development efforts to diversify Florida’s economy and create better paying jobs for its citizens by supporting, attracting and helping to create businesses in innovative, high-growth industries.

Miami-Dade County, Office of Community & Economic Development administers Federal and State funding that supports the development of viable urban neighborhoods in Miami-Dade County characterized by decent housing, expansion of economic opportunities and the preservation of historic properties.

Beacon Council is the official economic development partnership dedicated to the creation and retention of jobs and the expansion of businesses in Miami-Dade County.

Broward County, Office of Economic Development's mission is to promote a full range of strategies designed to enhance Broward County’s economy that will result in job creation, business expansion, and growing the tax base of Broward County.

Broward Alliance's mission is to lead Broward County in building a stronger and more diversified economy by promoting increased public/private sector collaboration; delivering business development initiatives focused on new investment and job growth; enhancing the competitiveness of Broward's business climate; and driving regional initiatives.

VisionBROWARD is a community economic development partnership being undertaken by The Broward County Board of County Commissioners, The Broward Alliance, The Broward Workshop and the Project’s facilitators, Nova Southeastern University.  This visioning process will involve hundreds of groups and individuals that will take part in this public/private initiative that will ultimately solicit opinions and contributions from private businesses, the educational community, local governments, community organizations and the public.
